Sir Tey bought doughnuts for everyone for our meeting, i was late because i came from the hospital but i was still able to catch the part where they were discussing plans for our summer outing, and oh, i still got a doughnut - my favorite strawberry filled one. :)

So after finishing Hunger Games last year, i haven’t set my hands on another book and while in the mall, i thought to myself, i think i might need to read - best therapy, well for me at least. There’s nothing like a good book to put you to sleep, you know? Lol, anyway… Matched is kind of reminiscent of Hunger games, alternate future with a totalitarian government and a love triangle. Easy read though, i’m liking it so far. I finished reading half of it while waiting for my mom to be admitted to the hospital, had to take a day off work to be with her. Srsly, sometimes when you see your mom in pain, you just kind of want to take her place.

So shopping with my mom, pro’lly not a practical idea. bought the same jacket in 2 different colors. I wonder why I always do this, oh well… they’re both sooo nice, Elle jackets are the absolute cutest!:D Also bought 2 more Vera Wang blouses and 2 Lauren Conrads, cutesy much. hmmm, current balance = below zero, LOOOOOL!:))

There’s nothing like shopping to mend a heartbreak??? NAH..

Money burn indeed but well worth it, except for the movie. We had breakfast @ Mercatto, moved to High Street for juice and cookies @ Starbucks while waiting for the showing time of The Devil Inside. The movie sucked like the reviews said but after which decided to eat lunch @ Sentro in Serendra and to say the least, steak was a piece of heaven, Lol. Will definitely eat there again!:D Went home tired but full!:)

Technically this was our breakfast dessert last Saturday, but since there’s just too much to post for that day, i’m splitting the pictures into two days.

This tiny ball of happiness is the best way to make my day, i mean srsly. LOL. I got the cookie dough flavored one and Jekka got strawberry.

I rarely see mocha flavored ice cream any more :( I mean, maybe the coffee flavor is supposed to be the replacement but it just tastes different. So, yay for this and for those who are also looking, i was able to buy this @ Cash and Carry.

So mom and i went out to do groceries. We were just heading out when my older brother told us to buy him Chips Ahoy and Chuckie (a chocolate drink). Then my mom, laughing said, “all grown up and that’s what he still wants” and then she turned to ask me if i wanted any ‘pasalubong’, what i said was “ako anduay ice lang, the red one” and then we both laughed and we did buy a couple, froze it and chugged it up. Oh don’t i just have the best mom, ever?:)

February 25, 2012 | Sleepless Saturdays

So from work, i had breakfast with Jekka and Roy, stayed in for a while and i went home, watched some TV and then mom and I went out, did ‘some’ shopping and had dinner.

This is always the drill for Saturdays so most of the time, from work I spend the day out - SLEEPLESS. But well, it’s the more convenient time to go out for everyone else who are blessed with a ‘normal’ working schedule. LOL.

February 24, 2012 | Hello Glasses

Yep, i haaaaave to wear this otherwise i might be clicking the wrong buttons, LOL. I haven’t quite slept well since Wednesday. I don’t handle “unfinished work” quite well. BUT good thing i didn’t have any defects for the base map i just passed, so yay me, one down…one more to go! Also, another we filed for another OT (4-hours!) because we had to lessen the queue as per Sir Tey, and so we did.

Anyway, let’s just say i had a dose of inspiration to last the day ;)
